After washing and air drying the blanket, apply our water repellent by hand spraying it evenly across the entire surface to ensure that every fiber is thoroughly saturated. Allow the blanket to air dry for a full 24 hours following the application.

Please note that any waterproof products added after the original factory protection will not guarantee waterproofing in heavy rain. These products are intended to provide protection during light showers, and their effectiveness may vary based on the age and quality of the blanket fabric.

If your horse is frequently exposed to very wet weather, you may want to consider investing in a new turnout blanket.
